FESTIVAL CANCELLED IN GAZIPAŞA

The arrest of Mayor Muhittin Böcek has begun to affect planned cultural and traditional events in the region. The first cancellation came from Gazipaşa Municipality. The Toroslar Günnercik Highland Festival, held annually at the end of July, was called off due to the ongoing legal proceedings.

ALL EYES ON GÖKBEL WRESTLING

Attention has now turned to one of Alanya’s largest cultural events: the Gökbel Highland Oil Wrestling Festival. The event is scheduled for July 31 – August 3, 2025, but no official announcement has yet been made by Alanya Municipality.
